In today, studies make with Geographic Information System (GIS) which is a very important tools in science of geography constitute resource many disciplinary the same time. This technical make analysis and question to result of data transform to maps use particularly in detection of problems and studies planning of future. In this studies, sports areas in cities of existence, sufficiency, analysis of distribution and case of accessibility examine example of Kocaeli Karamursel city. Sport areas in central of Karamursel city is established to satellite images and master plans, its transfer from GIS and classify. To except calculation of area and statistical data in this software, making to analysis of distribution, accessibility of sports areas and were used to these maps. Also areas data's compared datas of population and have been identified per capita sport areas. As a result of studying, sport areas have showed irregular a distribution, some spor facilities have some problem of accessibility see in city center of Karamursel. It has been determined that the amount of sporting area per person identified in the study area is below the World Standard (4 m2 per person). It was determined that 142.005 m2 more sports area was needed to reach this amount in Karamursel city center.
