Abstract

Objective: The (Aim of this study was to investigate the effects of local or systemic metronidazole as adjunctives to non-surgical periodontal treatment. on the clinical parameters and gingival crevicular fluid (GCE) levels of matrix metalloproteinase-8 (MMP-8) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1) in chronic periodontitis patients.
