Since 2003, the Individual Pension System (IPS) in Turkey has gained increasing significance and has made substantial contributions to the national economy. To comprehensively assess this development, it is crucial to analyze academic studies through bibliometric methods. This study conducts a content analysis of 302 postgraduate theses available in the National Thesis Center (NTC) of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). The distribution of these theses was examined based on various criteria, including their publication years, types, languages, affiliated universities, institutes, academic departments, advisors’ titles, research methods, and topics. The findings indicate that master's theses significantly outnumber doctoral dissertations in the field of the "Individual Pension System." Furthermore, 90% of the theses were written in Turkish, while 10% were authored in English. Marmara University stands out as the leading institution with 59 theses, and social sciences institutes dominate in terms of the number of theses produced in this area. The majority of the theses were written in the field of business administration, with professors serving as the most frequent thesis advisors. Statistical methods were identified as the most commonly employed analytical tools, and business-related topics constituted the most prevalent thematic focus.
