Maintaining public life in a certain harmony and order, besides common feelings and thoughts, depends on values and norms which individuals who constitute that society must follow and adopt. Weakening and untieing of norms and values systems which form the base of trust and harmony among individuals, breaks down the mechanism of daily life and cause chaos. Because of this, instruction of norms and values systems to the individual and reminding of these depending on to time and happenings oftenly is necessary. When instruction of the mechanism of daily life is the question, it is seen that within traditional narrations as myths, tales, legends and fables, also proverbs come forward. Proverbs also step in directly in the periods when individual and society ask questions as, "what's the way of a fair treatment?", "What to do, what not to do?", "To move according to what?" In the article, on the instruction and reminding functions of the mechanism of daily life, Crimean Tatar proverbs, by focusing sample texts, it is questioned the way it puts these functions forward. As the conclusion of this questioning, it is seen that Crimean Tatar proverbs are functioning well in the instruction and reminding of values and norms systems. As Crimean Tatar proverbs function, themes as loyalty to the family, patriotic, nation and human love, moral, distinction of good and bad, honesty, diligence, justice, courage, honor, frugality, generosity, friendship, hospitality, unity, community, patience, avoidance of cruelty, being wise and well educated are observed to come forward. The proverbs having such important functions also give important tips about Crimean Tatar traditional perspective of life.
