Abstract

OBJECTIVE AND IMPORTANCE: Schwannomas of the central nervous system usually originate from the vestibular nerve and occasionally originate from the trigeminal, nerve. Sympathetic plexus schwannomas are extremely rare and have never been noted within the cavernous sinus.
