Özet

The aim of this study is to describe the current condition by interviewing the doctors who take place in the process of diagnosis in the hospitals in Istanbul and the families with children diagnosed with autism in these hospitals. The study group of this study consists of 10 families whose children were diagnosed with autism in the hospitals in 2013-2014 and 12 medical doctors who involved in the diagnosis of these children. In the process of determining the opinion of the families of children with autism and specialists for diagnosis, semi-structured interview based on the qualitative research approach was used.
