This paper studies the radiation attenuation properties and build up (EBF and EABF) factors of different types of bioactive glasses in the 0.015-15 MeV photon energy range. EBF and EABF values of investigated bioactive glasses are determined by using the G-P fitting method. Moreover, effective removal cross-section values, alpha/ proton mass stopping power (MSP), and alpha/proton projected range values (PR) are determined for fast neutrons and charged particles. The investigation indicates that TiO2 additive in the bioactive glasses causes considerable variations in the attenuation properties of bioactive glasses. The results show that the BT2.5 bioactive glass sample has highest attenuation performance among the samples.
