Natural and wood fibre reinforced polymer materials
are growing rapidly within the automotive industry because of their advantages
such as their reducing the density of automotive components through
microcellular structure, process, and product. Natural fibre reinforced foamed
polymer materials are of high significance because of their ability to reduced
weight and improved strength. This
research investigates chemical foaming agents content on cell morphology,
density, and physical properties of composites. In this study, chemical foaming
agents were being reinforced at the rate of 1-2-3%wt. in natural
fiber-reinforced recycled composite polypropylene raw material. Microcellular
hempfibre reinforced PP composites are obtained in the injection machine were
molded in sizes and shapes in accordance with the standards. Humidity test for moisture behavior, and the
wear test would be done. The structures of the foamed composites were examined
using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to observed cell morphology cell size,
shape, and distribution of cells account for this behavior. By examining the
test results, the physical, and morphological properties of natural fiber
reinforced polypropylene materials at different chemical agent percentages were
examined. Optimum yield can be obtained from the results by investigating
property changes.
