In this study, it was aimed to examine the physical performance properties of reusable
face masks. Five masks having different properties have been evaluated within the scope
of the project. The masks have been designed to be three layers and samples of mask
surface have produced to be combinations of woven, knitted and nonwoven fabric in the
mask layers. In order to determine the physical performance properties of masks; weight,
thickness and air permeability tests have been carried out. According to the performance
results, reusable masks have been compared with disposable medical mask and the data
have been commented.
