Özet

Childhood poisonings are an important problem. The goal or the study was to implement and evaluate poisoning prevention training for primary school students. The study was carried out in 3 rural schools Kemalpasa, Izmir, Turkey. Fourth and 5(th) grade students completed age appropriate questionnaires pre- and post-education. There were significant differences in mean scores of the knowledge responses given pre- and post-test (p<0.05). with more Questions answered correctly post-education.
