There
are so many factors that affect to use of outsourcing methods. The most
important of them is to decreasing the costs. To use outsourcing for lower costs
causes to companies’ production process or some part of this is made by the
other companies. And that makes the company smaller. Actually, this situation
means; instead of making investment of working with so many employees, to take
advantage of some companies that make the same job by using outsourcing. So
companies will be free of labor costs and will be able to respond their
costumer’s requests. Trying to respond costumers’ needs when making big
investments and working with too many employees, brings high risks
economically. Today there is a global economical crisis all over the world and
costumers’ requests and expectations are changing quickly. Also production
diversity is becoming more. So, the companies which can’t catch those changes
are producing under their production capacities. This situation makes lower
their capacity utilization rates. In this opinion, to use outsourcing is an
effective method to eliminate the risk.
In this work; firstly general information about outsourcing methods, the reasons which expose outsourcing methods and capacity utilization rate will be told. After that information which obtains as a result of a survey which was done in apparel companies will be appreciated. And the relation between using outsourcing methods and ratio of using capacity in apparel companies will be worked to fix.
