Abstract

The electrospinning technique is to obtain coating by transferring material between positive and negative poles by using high DC voltage and magnetic fields (Zheng 2019). DC source is the transmitting (positive) side and the surface to be coated is the receiving (negative) side. In this technique, a solution is prepared and the substances to be transferred is added. Generally, nanosized materials are used. It is used to obtain polymer, metal, ceramic, and composite materials (Varghese et al. 2019). 3D coatings can be obtained. In this way, it is used in the biomedical field for self-healing and drug release, such as skin dressing and wound dressing (Gendelberg et al. 2019). Its usage area has increased with the studies carried out in the last 20 years.
