Özet

This paper describes the evolution of the platoon emergency-braking demonstrator developed in the Intelligent Secure Trustable Things (InSecTT) project. In this demo, the emergency braking command can be relayed by nearby vehicles and base stations (BSs). Vehicles host regular multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems, while BSs host massive MIMO. This setup improves reception, while reducing latency and vehicle collisions. Our extension exploits the new 6G technology of Intelligent Metasurfaces (IMs), which are placed at different locations of a 3D Manhattan model (e.g., on walls or at BSs) to mitigate non-line-of-sight (NLOS) effects. A geometry-based stochastic channel model captures all deterministic and scattering reflections around vehicles. The model is also useful for capturing single-and multi-layer reflections of IMs. This enables an efficient evaluation of machine learning (ML)-assisted vehicle-Toeverything (V2X) MIMO/IM systems. A realistic braking model is used to compute the collision probability.
