Özet

In this research, the role of education in the development of the relations between the blocs in terms of political geography and the member states of the Organization of Turkish States, which is one of these blocs, is emphasized. In terms of political geography, the establishment of pacts between countries is based on various factors. One of the main objectives is to develop relations between countries in Political blocks formed by economic, political and cultural factors. One of the ways to achieve this is undoubtedly educational practices. In the research, Permanent members and observer members of Organization of Turkish States are considered as a sample. A holistic approach, an inductive methods were used. The data were obtained from the institutions of the relevant states. ArcGIS 10.4 software was used for geographical location, population map of countries. It's concluded that student mobility should be further expanded and fuctionalized in a wide geographical area known as the Turkish World. For this purpose, a reconstituted Turkish World Student Mobility Program covering all levels of education has been proposed. It's predicted that student mobility will increase and relations between the members of Organization of Turkish States will develop and be permanent. However, it is seen that the issue of education among the states that are members of the Organization of Turkish States is not sufficiently on the agenda and student mobility only covers the Higher Education level in a limited way. It is obvious that there is a need for restructured educational practices in this regard.
