The crime of supporting an armed terrorist organisation and the crime of financing terrorism can be confused with each other. The rea- son for this is that the subject of both offences is the same and the acts are similar. So much so that this confusion can be encountered even in court decisions. It is important to determine which act constitutes which offence by ensuring legal certainty. For this reason, both types of offen- ces should be compared in terms of the acts constituting the offence, the subject matter of the offence, the perpetrator and the victim, the moral element of typicality and cumulation.
