Abstract

The selection and use of teaching aids in French as a Foreign Language are of great importance. Generally, teachers are often lost in the quantity and the variety of teaching aids and resources at their disposal. Finding the “right” aid can quickly become a complicated task. Therefore, the objective of this study is to clarify the question of teaching aids in French as a Foreign Language. Another purpose of our study is to propose the selection criteria in the choice of teaching aids and to provide some ways of use in the context of an educational approach.

Le choix et l’utilisation des supports pédagogiques en français langue étrangère relèvent d’une grande importance. Les enseignants s’égarent souvent sous la masse et la variété des supports et des ressources qui sont à leur disposition. Trouver le « bon » support peut très rapidement devenir une tâche complexe. Ainsi, l’objectif principal de cette étude est d’apporter des éclaircissements sur la question des supports pédagogiques en Français Langue Étrangère. Il est aussi question de proposer des critères de sélection dans le choix des supports pédagogiques et de fournir quelques pistes d’utilisation dans le cadre d’une démarche pédagogique.
