Özet

It is seen that the battery voltage levels of electric vehicles have increased over the years. The main reason for this is to reduce electrical power losses and heating. Common electric vehicles draw current between 300 and 1000 amps. These values can be considered quite high. It is known that the power loss increases in direct proportion to the square of the current. From this perspective, higher battery voltage reduces the current. As a result of the decreasing current, power loss and heating also decrease. Additionally, current can be carried with lower cross-sections busbars. In this study, cell and module configuration optimization is performed for a battery pack topology that is compatible with the voltage level of all charging stations, operates at 400V level while charging, and can reach 800V level while driving.
