In this work varies quantities of waste cotton fibre in the length of 1mm, 2.5mm and 5mm are mixed with PP to produce composite structure in a twin screw extruder. Composite structures produced were containing 3 % and % 6 waste cotton fibre. 100% PP with no cotton fibre was also produced. All samples were tested in terms of tensile strength, elasticity modulus, yield strength, elongation, Izod impact strength, hardness and MFI (Melt Flow Index). Increasing the cotton waste ratio in PP polymer composite; increases the elasticity modulus, yield strength and tensile strength, and decreases the % elongation and izod impact strength, but in hardness values however considerable changes were not observed.
