Abstract

Today, researches focused on the evaluation of waste materials as raw material has increasingly gained importance

with developing technologies. This study is related with the evaluation of industrial LDPE Shrink film packaging wastes

produced by many sectors. LDPE Shrink film has spread usage especially in food and other industries. LDPE Shrink films

are one of the most widely used packaging materials providing the reach of products to users. Therefore, LDPE Shrink

films are very common in industries. In our study, industrial clean LDPE Shrink film wastes have been provided. Then,

LDPE Shrink films wastes have taken to laboratory for melt flow index (MFI) and ash test to learning whether additional

material inside the our material. Later, studies were conducted to find out suitable solvent because of liquid solution

is required for electropinning. After the determination of suitable solvent solution, LDPE Shrink films were completely

dissolved to liquid form with required suitable environmental conditions. Therefore, our solution was prepared for

electrospinning device. After the suitable conditions were provided, solution was fed to feeding unit in electrospinning

device. And than formation of nanofibers were obtained. Finally, produced nanofibers characterization has been

determined.
