In this study, 6061-T6 series aluminum sheets with 1.5 mm thickness were combined with aluminumbased (AlMg4,5Mn) wire by cold metal transfer (CMT) method. The samples were prepared in the form of butt jointing and the joining processes were carried out at 60, 70, 80 and 90 A welding currents. Having accomplished the CMT operations; tensile properties of joints were detected, micro-hardness values were measured and micro and macro-structures of joints were investigated in order to see the joinability of 6061-T6 series aluminum sheets by CMT technique
