Özet

Alginate which is a natural biopolymer produced from brown seaweed. Researchers have investigated the electro spinning of alginate but the difficulties of electro spinning of alginate have been overcome yet. In this study, two different concentrations of sodium alginate (1% and 0.75%) aqueous solutions were blended with aqueous solution of poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) in different ratio. Nano fibers were produced from the solutions which consist of sodium alginate/ poly (vinyl alcohol) via electro spinning. Before the producing of nano fibers, viscosity, pH and electric conductivity of the solutions were analyzed. Furthermore, the characterization of nano fibers was investigated with using of Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and the average diameter of nano fibers was calculated
