ABSTRACT
Today, with the increase of human activities, the negative effects on the environment have increased rapidly. The The increasing consumption trend and the gradual decrease in the amount of raw materials threaten the harmful substances, human and environmental health that the waste contains. Thus, environmentalist approaches such as reducing waste, recyc- ling, and recovery, regardless of source, are of great importance.
In this study, the process from the concept of zero waste to its disposal, the types of wastes, the interactions with the environment, the management of wastes, the current issue of sustai- nable and sustainable environment in the printing industry, laws and regulations. In addition, on-site visits and questionnaires were used to evaluate the printing industry’s approach to waste and waste management and suggestions were made regarding the environmental impa- cts of printing industry wastes and contributions to the country’s economy.
