Türk televizyon tarihinde, popüler dizi üretimine dair değişimlerin devlet kanalı olan TRT’nin tutumu, projeleri üretenler, seyircilerin beklentileri ve gündelik yaşamın getirdiği hassasiyetler ve siyasi gündem etrafında cereyan eden dinamikler bakımından ele alınması önem arz etmektedir.
Bu çalışmada, TRT’nin kuruluşundan bu yana ele alınan çalışmaların, Türk televizyonlarında 1974’ten günümüze uzanan dizi film yayıncılığının popüler ve kültürel bir metin olarak üretildiği dönemlerdeki tarihsel ve politik yeri, değişen değerler, ihtiyaçlar ve beklentiler bağlamında değerlendirilmiştir.
Bu amaçla TRT’nin 1974’ten bu yana, kendine özgü yapım koşulları ve siyasi atmosfer içinde ele aldığı dizi yapımları arasında hangi türlerde ve başlıklarda projelere imza attığını, izleyicilerin de dünden bugüne televizyondan beklentilerini anlama adına yeniden gözden geçirmek bu manada anlamlıdır. Ele alınan dizi projeleri içindeki tarih dizilerinde zaman, iktidar, kültür, din, ve ideoloji gibi bazı göstergelere daha yakından bakarak, bu popüler alanın (diziler) geçmişten günümüze içindeki değişimleri ve farklılıkları görmek mümkündür.
In the history of Turkish television, it is important to consider the changes in the production of popular TV series in terms of the attitude of the state channel TRT, the producers of the projects, the expectations of the audience, the sensitivities brought by daily life and the dynamics around the political agenda.
In this study, the historical and political place of the studies, which have been discussed since the establishment of TRT, in the periods when TV series broadcasting from 1974 to the present were produced as a popular and cultural text on Turkish television, was evaluated in the context of changing values, needs and expectations.
For this purpose, it is meaningful in this sense to reconsider the types and titles of TV series productions that TRT has handled since 1974, in its unique production conditions and political atmosphere, in order to understand the expectations of the audience from television from past to present. By looking more closely at some indicators such as time, power, culture, religion, and ideology, it is possible to see the changes and differences in this popular field (TV series) from past to present.
