Özet

In this study, the utilization of wastes that come into prominence due to sustainability has been emphasized and the use of corn silk fibers from agricultural wastes in the composites has been examined. In the composites whose matrix is flexible polyurethane foam, fiber reinforcement ratio is 5% by weight. In addition, some of the fibers were subjected to surface modification with 10% NaOH for 15 minutes, at room temperature. Thermal conductivity coefficients and TGA / DTA graphs of the composites obtained from untreated and treated fibers were analyzed.
