Abstract

Within the context of financial collaboration between Turkey and EU, several projects are supported by grant program. The main purpose of these projects is to encourage the social integration of people living in regional development districts. These projects have important points and many rules from the beginning and ending of the period.  The most important side of this period is the financial reporting of all activities within the context of the project.

This paper explains the rules and standards that should be obeyed by the project team while preparing the financial reports of the projects. We can divide the project into 3 steps in terms of financial aspect. First of them is the budgeting process which is the phase before the application of the project. Other   two aspects are in-term and final financial reporting which are very important fort he transparency of the all performed activities. Financial reporting is very important for a project in the achievement of its determined aims.
