Özet

Abstract

In this study, evaluating the financial performance of food manufacturing sector, which has a significant share in Turkey's economy, it aims to determine the most successful food and beverage companies that show the highest performance. Food and beverage companies have been ranked by using TOPSIS and ELECTRE methods in this study, and then companies with the highest performance between 2011-2016 were identified. According the result of this study, it was determined that TOPSIS and ELECTRE methods are useful to select the most successful food and beverage companies and to facilitate multi- and analytical decision-making. The financial statements of twenty six (26) food and beverage company traded in the Stock Market Istanbul (BIST) Food Manufacturing Sector during the period 2012-2016 were used in the study.
