The aim of the project is to expand the international cooperation started during the ModVocPilot project and supporting projects before that, spread the good practices of coaching electronics developed during the projects, compare, improve and unify the curricula of the education to approach the European level in different European countries, to develop European training programme and training models and create opportunities for on-the-job learning for students of European countries. There will also be a close co-operation between schools/ institutions and companies, which brings expert exchange with the staff of the companies and visits in the educational establishments of the field in question.
The transfer of innovation will be realized through the national and international competition activity developed for measuring the level of vocational skills the coaching needed for it. The students, teachers in charge of coaching, workplace and apprenticeship instructors as well as the in-company trainers will transfer the knowledge acquired during the project to the education, working methods and use of instruments in the educational institutions. Officially, the effect will be seen in curricula, vocational qualifications and the contents of the skills demonstrations with a delay of a few years. The methods of the transfer of innovation will be described more closely in the accompanying work packages, whose main contents is the analysis of background information, preparation of the competition task and the coaching connected with it as well as the competition event itself supported by the on-the-job learning period in the local industry.
Most of training and testing activities will be organised in the EuroSkills competition 2008 and national competitions before that. The main results will be taken into use just before the EuroSkills 2010 competition either in Austria or Croatia, The transfer will be concentrated on those new EU member countries whose industrial capacity and level of development in educational establishments do not fully equal to the level of old members. It is important for the new members to get acquainted with the newest achievements of technology and, correspondingly, the old member countries will get information about things connected with education and the mobility of labour.
The results of the project (based on the needs analysis made in targeting countries), training programmes and practices and multimedia material benefit the students and teachers of the vocational institutions as well as working life in different European countries. They can be directly utilized in education but also when marketing the attractiveness of vocational actual education in countries related to the partners.
