My current main interest research focus is translational cardiovascular
and diabetes research to explore new drug targets in collaboration with Group
Florence Nightingale Hospital Cardiology, Bariatric surgery and Internal
Medicine Unit Clinicians to extend our available knowledge on individualized molecular
responses/pathways to therapies and to
find new therapeutic molecules to help patients who do not respond or have
serious adverse drug reactions to available drugs. The obtained results will help us to find novel therapeutic drug targets in the treatment of diabetic patients
with coronary artery disease..
