Activity 2.5: Production of protocols and methodology regarding data relay systems to include actual real time catch and landing figures.
A2.5 covers the
protocols for collection of the primary data that allow for the continuous
operation of data collection and the associated validation process. The
protocols for collecting and analysing data will be based on guidelines that
are designed to ensure the design and adoption of a national standard for
sampling and survey procedures related to the collection of data on such as
catch, landings, biological characteristics (length, weight and sex) of fish
landed at selected landing places, landing and wholesale prices. The data
should be available on a weekly and monthly basis for “the duration of the project”. Real time data on catch, landings
will be transmitted to the data collection system. Drafts on the methodology and protocol should
be available for review by the beneficiary by the end of Month-12 of the
project.
