Lect. MAHACEN BEN MANSOUB EP VARLIK

Mahacen Varlik graduated in Literature (University of Lille, 2000) with a specialization in Teaching French as a Foreign Language. Her past teaching experience were in France (Lille, Paris) and Syria (Lattakia). Her master's thesis focuses on Didactics of pronunciation in the training of French teachers in Turkey. She has published a study on the body’s place in the phonological competence’s development of French learners in Turkey. With the collaboration of Valérie Skirka, Mahacen Varlik has written a French teaching book called Bagages (Coallia, 2009). She is currently a member of the scientific board of the journal « Didactique du FLES : Recherches et pratiques », presiding the board of the French Teachers Association of Istanbul (Fransızca Öğretmenleri Derneği) and lecturing at the Atatürk Faculty of Pedagogy, where she teaches on Linguistics, Lexicology, French teaching methodologies, Speaking skills and Assessment.
