Fulya Çallıalp was born in Ankara, Turkey, 1979. She received the
B.S. degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering (with high honors) from
Yildiz Technical University in 2001, the M.S. and the Ph D. degree in
Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University, Istanbul,
Turkey, in 2004, 2011 respectively. From 2004 to 2007, she was employed by TUBITAK
National Metrology Institute (UME) in electromagnetic compatibility laboratory.
She was a teaching and research assistant at Bogazici University from 2007 to
2011. During 2011 and 2019, she was an assistant professor in Marmara University,
Istanbul, Turkey. She was promoted to Associate Professor on June 2019.She was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of
Electrical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, in Bangkok, Thailand from July
2016 to July 2018. She has been working in the area of electromagnetic
computation, propagation, and related areas. She has published 19 journal papers and one book chapter. She has chaired conference sessions, collaborated with other scholars on research and presented at numerous regional, national and international conference meetings. She has given invited talks in Thailand. She is a member of IEEE since 2002.
