Özet:Bu araştırmada, Ortaokul Türkçe Ders kitaplarında yer alan şiirlerin çocuk şiirlerinde bulunması gereken niteliklere uygun olup olmadığını ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında aşağıdaki sorulara cevap aranmıştır: 1. Çocuk şiirlerinde bulunması gereken nitelikler nelerdir? 2. 5. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan şiirler çocuk şiirlerinde bulunması gereken niteliklere uygun mudur? 3. 6. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan şiirler çocuk şiirlerinde bulunması gereken niteliklere uygun mudur? 4. 7. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan şiirler çocuk şiirlerinde bulunması gereken niteliklere uygun mudur? 5. 8. sınıf Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan şiirler çocuk şiirlerinde bulunması gereken niteliklere uygun mudur? Araştırmada doküman incelemesi kullanılarak araştırmanın konusuyla ilgili kaynaklar incelenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler ışığında çocuk şiirlerinde bulunması gereken niteliklerle ilgili 24 maddelik değerlendirme formu oluşturulmuştur. Bu maddeler bağlamında içerik analiz yöntemi kullanılarak Ortaokul Türkçe Ders kitaplarında yer alan şiirler değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada 5, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabında yer alan şiirler her sınıf düzeyinde ayrı ayrı değerlendirilmiştir. Değerlendirme sonunda her sınıf düzeyinin altında genel durum, tablo hâlinde sunulmuştur. Çalışmanın sonunda ise dört sınıf düzeyinde de şiirlerin ölçütlere uygun olma durumuna göre elde edilen oranlar tablo hâlinde verilmiştir. Buna göre ölçütlere en uygun şiirler 7. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabında yer almaktayken, bu ölçütlere uygun olmayan şiirler en fazla 6. sınıf Türkçe ders kitabında yer almaktadır. Ayrıca belirlenen ölçütlere en çok uyan şiirlerin Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer almasına yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur. In the scope of the study, questions below are tried to be answered: 1. What is the facilities that is included in children poem? 2. Are the poems taking place in 5th grade of secondary school Turkish language coursebooks proper to criteria of children’s poetry? 3. Are the poems taking place in 6th grade of secondary school Turkish language coursebooks proper to criteria of children’s poetry? 4. Are the poems taking place in 7th grade of secondary school Turkish language coursebooks proper to criteria of children’s poetry? 5. Are the poems taking place in 8th grade of secondary school Turkish language coursebooks proper to criteria of children’s poetry? Document review method is used in the study and sources about the subject of study are analysed. According to the obtained data, an assessment form including 24 article is comprised. Poems in secondary school coursebooks are evaluated by using content analysis according to the articles. In the study all the poems of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades are evaluated on their own. At the end of each grades evaluation tables are given. As the conclusion of the study, appropriateness of poems to the criteria is given in the tables. In this context, poems in 7th grade coursebook is highly appropriate to the criteria, but poems in 6th grade are less appropriate. The poems in the coursebooks should be chosen according to appropriateness of given criteria. Keywords: Children’s literature, poetry, criteria of children poetry, Turkish language coursebook.
