Özet:Çok kültürlülük, birçok ülkede olduğu gibi bizim ülkemizde de yer alan bir durumdur. Bu nedenle çok kültürlü eğitim öğrencilere verilmeli mi, verilmemeli mi ya da verilmeli ise nasıl verilmelidir gibi konular cevap arayan sorulardandır. Bu nedenle bu çalışmada Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin çok kültürlü eğitime bakış açıları incelenmiştir. Bu araştırmada, Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenlerinin çok kültürlü eğitime bakış açılarını belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Şu sorulara cevap aranmıştır: 1. Türkiye’deki Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin çok kültürlü eğitime bakış açıları nasıldır? 2. Türkiye’de yer alan Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerine göre öğrencilerin çok kültürlü eğitim sistemine entegre süreci nasıl gerçekleştirilebilir? Nitel araştırma tasarımı kullanılarak yapılan araştırmada, çok kültürlü eğitim alanında, sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin görüşleri alınmıştır. Sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerin bir kısmının çok kültürlü eğitimi tam olarak tanımlayamadığı saptanmıştır. Bu bulgular araştırmanın olumsuz yönünü göstermektedir. Ancak genel itibariyle çok kültürlülüğün yaşadığımız coğrafyadan kaynaklı bir durum olduğunu ve çok kültürlü eğitimin verilmesi gerekliliği yönünde bir uzlaşım vardır. Çok kültürlü eğitimin uygulanışında karşılaşılan sorunlar da toplanan veriler arasında yer almaktadır. -------------------- Multiculturalism takes a part in our country like other countries. Because of that we are faced with a lot of questions like if it's possible to teach multicultural lessons or how to teach these. This study examine the perspective from teachers of the sociology education program and their lesson plan. The problems which are found during the implementation of the multicultural education the between the collected results. This study will find out the point of view of the sociology education teachers. The study which was made with the design of nitel will answer us following questions: 1. How is the point of view of the sociology education teachers in Turkey to the topic of multicultural education? 2. How will be the integrated process of the students to the multicultural education? The study which is made with the design of Nitel shows that a lot of teachers cannot define multicultural education and therefore they do not know if it is included in the sociology lesson plan or not. These findings shows the negative aspect of the study.İn general it exists a mediation and it is a must to teach multicultural lessons.
