Abstract:This study deals with the comparative study of recitation attitudes of Istanbul and Cairo. The fact that these two attitudes have not been studied seriously so far - in our opinion- has revealed that these attitudes should be considered as research. In the study, the sampling area is composed of Surah al-Fatiha in tune Ushak (Uşşak) that the humanity reader performed the mentioned attitudes. The reading of the leading representatives in both recitation attitudes are in our study field. Both the nuncupatory records and the previously made records have shaped the frame of the thesis position. These records are taken to the note and it is revealed how they follow the general lines of these notes. Immediately after, with the digital analysis programs in the computer environment, the sent values and correspondingly the range calculations has been made. Thus, the comparison of the ranges in practice with the theoretical range is provided. Comparisons of attitudes within themselves are made and then their comparison with each other is provided. On this opportunity, it is contacted to different or similar aspects of Istanbul and Cairo recitation. Finally, it is aimed to be a model by developing a quadratic writing principle in the notation program for the transcription studies that will be done.
