Kur’ân’ın önemli bir bölümünü teşkil eden kıssalar, muhatabı olan kitlenin eğitim ve hidayetini amaç edinmeleri bakımından mühim bir işleve sahiptir. Kur’ân’da geçmiş ümmetlere dair verilerin özellikle nüzul ortamına paralel olarak, vahyin asıl meselelerinden olan inanç ve ahlak eğitimi çerçevesinde anlatıldığı, böylece Kur’ânî hakikatlerin bireyler tarafından içselleştirmesinin ve ideal bir İslam toplumu oluşturulmasının hedeflendiği görülmektedir. Bu araştırmanın birinci bölümünde iman ve ahlak yönünden kıssaların İslam toplumunu inşa süreci ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu bölümde kıssaların iman esaslarını tesbiti, inkarın sebepleri ve davranış üzerindeki etkileri ile ahlaka müteallik meseleler kıssa hitabı çerçevesinde verilen örneklerle değerlendirilmeye gayret edilmiştir. Tezin ikinci bölümünde kıssaların, yeni va’z edilecek olan ibadet ve muamelata (toplumsal ilişkiler) dair prensipler ve ceza alanına giren konularda İslam toplumunun gelişimine olan etkisi araştırılmıştır. Çalışmanın üçüncü ve son bölümünde ise ümmetleşme - devlet olma sürecinde İslam toplumunun kat ettiği süreç, bu süreçte takip edilen yöntem şekilleri olarak tebliğ, cihad, hicret ve din birliğini gerçekleştirme konularının, Kur’ânî üslubla ele alınan tarihî betimlemeler ve bu betimlemelerin muhatap toplum üzerinde oluşturduğu etki çerçevesinde değerlendirilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Son olarak ilmî ve medenî terakkî bağlamında İslam toplumunun gelişim sürecine kıssa anlatımı yoluyla sağlanan katkı ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. ABSTRACT Narrations, which constitute a significant part of Quran, have an important function in the sense that they aspire to educate and help to find the right path for the target population. It is clear that the information about past ummahs was narrated within the scope of morality and faith education which is the main issue of revelation especially in parallel to the circumstances of that period; thus the aim is internalization of the Quranic truths by every individual andestablishment of the ideal Islamic society. Progression to the development of Islamic society by narrations from the perspective of faith and moral values was discussed in the first part of this study. Establishment of faith principals with narrations, reason for denial and its effects on behavior, and issues regarding morality were assessed by the examples within the scope of narrational address. Effects of narrations on the development of Islamic Society principles regarding the newly established worship and transactions (social interactions) and on the issues within the area of interest to penal sanctions were studied in the second part of the study. In the third and the last part of the study, the progression of Islamic society to ummah-establishment of the state, processes including service, jihad, hegira and achieving religious unity aspursued methods during the course were evaluated within the scope of historical descriptionsexamined with Quranicmanner and effects of these descriptions on the society. Finally, additional effects of narrations were discussed on the development of Islamic society in the context of scientific and civil advancement.
