Özet:Öğrenme süreci hayat boyu devam eden bir süreçtir. Yetişkin Eğitimi'de hayat boyu eğitim kavramı ile ilgilidir. Yetişkin eğitimi 15 yaş üstü kişilere yönelik her konuda verilen eğitimi kapsamaktadır. Türkiye'de yetişkin eğitimi veren bir çok kurum vardır. Bunlar arasında; Halk Eğitim Merkezleri, belediyelere bağlı kuruluşlar ve sivil toplum kuruluşları sayılabilir. Bu çalışmada kadına yönelik yetişkin eğitimi veren kadın sivil toplum kuruluşları üzerinde durulmuştur. Kadınlara yönelik çalışan sivil toplum kuruluşları özellikle kadının iş ve eğitim hayatına daha çok katılmasından sonra faaliyet göstermeye başlamıştır.Türkiye'de 1990'lı yıllarda kadın örgütlenmeleri daha faal olarak çalışmaya başlamıştır. Sivil Toplum Geliştirme Merkezine kayıtlı şubelerle birlikle 400 civarında faaliyet gösteren kadın sivil toplum kuruluşu bulunmaktadır. Bu kuruluşlar çok çeşitli konularda kadınlara eğitim vermektedir. Bu araştırmada; kadınlara yönelik faaliyet gösteren sivil toplum kuruluşları ve bu kuruluşların kadınlara yönelik eğitim programları ele alınmıştır. Bu amaçla, İstanbul ve Kocaeli kentlerinde kadınlara yönelik faaliyet gösteren sivil toplum kuruluşları seçilmiş ve araştırılmıştır. Araştırma için 8 sivil toplum kuruluşu belirlenmiş ve yöneticileriyle görüşülmüş, sivil toplum kuruluşlarının yönetim yapısı, kadınlara yönelik eğitim faaliyetleri incelenmiştir.Araştırmada tarafımızdan geliştirilen iki anket kullanılmıştır. Birinci anket, 8 kadın sivil toplum kuruluşunun yöneticilerine uygulanan ve üç bölümden oluşan (demografik özelliklere ait 8, sivil toplum kuruluşunun yönetim yapısına ait 12, yetişkin eğitimi faaliyetlerine ait 9 olup toplam 29 maddeden) oluşan yönetici anketidir. İkinci anket, kadınlara yönelik faaliyet gösteren sivil toplum kuruluşlarında eğitim alan 134 kadın kursiyere uygulanan ve üç bölümden (demografik özelliklere ait 8, düzenlenen kurslarla ilgili 9, kursiyerlerin kurs memnuniyetleriyle ilgili görüşlerine ait 5 olup toplam 22 maddeden) oluşan kursiyer anketidir.Araştırmada, "yönetici anketi"nin bulgularının bir kısmı nicel, bazı bulgular da nitel olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Tüm anket bulguları için frekens ve yüzde değerleri kullanılmıştır.üstlenmektedir. Yapılan anket çalışmaları sonucunda, kadınlara yönelik yetişkin eğitimlerinin çok çeşitli yaş gurubundan, eğitim düzeyinden ve meslekten kadınlara yönelik olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Verilen eğitimlerde yaşanan en büyük sıkıntı kadınların eş ve çocuklarına karşı olan sorumluluklarının kendi eğitimlerine vakit ayırmada engel olması, toplumun kadına biçmiş olduğu rolden kadının kurtulamaması ve maddi sıkıntıların olmasıdır. Yetişkin eğitiminin daha da fazla yaygınlaşması için gözlenen sıkıntıların ortadan kaldırılması gerekmektedir. ABSTRACT Learning is a process in continuum that goes on all along the life without respect to age or period of time. In this respect adult education is a vast concept that covers a variety of phenomena. Adult education consists of all kinds of educational programs for those aged over 15. There are many institutions engaged in adult education. Such as people education centers municipalities centers some other non-governmental organizations (NEO). This study focuses on the state of woman non-governmental organizations that supply adult education for women. Non-governmental organizations that work for adult education of women have been active in Turkey specifically following women's rising participation in educational and vocational life. Women organizations have started to work more actively in Turkey after 1990s. There are around 400 such organizations working for adult women's education according to the records of Sivil Toplum Geliştirme Merkezi. These organizations are active within a variety of educative fields for women.The theme of this study is the non-governmental organizations of women and the educational programs of this organization for women. For this purpose, women non-governmental organizations in İstanbul and Kocaeli were chosen and studied. As a result of this study, the directors of 8 non-governmental organizations were excimined and administrative structure of these organizations and activities for women were examined.The reseschers used 2 questionnaires for this study which developed by researchers. The first questionnaire was applied to directors of 8 women non-governmental organizations and consists of 3 parts (8 items about demographic information, 12 about administrative structure and 9 about activities for adults). This questionnaire consisted of total 29 items. The second questionnaire was applied to 134 participants who participated into women non-governmental organizations and consists of three parts. (8 items about demographic information, 9 about opinions of participants and 5 items about satisfaction of participants).The second questionnaire has total 22 items. The results of the study evaluated by voting frequency and percentage values.As a result of this study, non-governmental organizations for women undertake an important role in meeting the adult education of women. These institutions work in strong collaboration with people education centers and municipalities. The results of the survey also revealed that adult educational programs for women applied a wide range of women within different age; education and profession groups. The biggest problem experienced during adult education for women by non-governmental organizations was the time limit of women; for they had limited time due to the fact that they are expected to give much of their time with their husbands or children. Also the role designed by the society for women limits them. Moreover women had economic problems in getting the adult education they desired.Consideing these problems, future adult education programs for women can be realized more properly.
