SUMMARY Education is the process of making a deliberate change in one's attitude through his own life. Education is deliberate, planned and programmed beforehand and applied to achieve certain ends. In order for the DKAB (Culture of Religion and Knowledge of Morality) lesson to be advantageous for the student and to ensure development in attitude, which has an important place in general, education and learning, it has to be implemented within a certain plan and program. DKAB (Culture of Religion and Knowledge of Morality) is one of the lessons taught to students pursuant to the 24th article of 1982 Law of our country. The curriculum of this lesson has been renewed in 1982, 1992 and 2000. Our study aims to compare the curriculum of DKAB (Culture of Religion and Knowledge of Morality) in 1982, 1992 and 2000 and to determine whether a development has been achieved. Our study adopts scanning model. The foundation of education system in a country is the education programs that constitute the general structure of education. The education programs must be developed taking into account the needs of society and individuals. Development of programs of DKAB (Culture of Religion and Knowledge of Morality) is a must in order to ensure that the individual has desired level of religious attitudes. When the general and special purpose of the curriculums of DKAB (Culture of Religion and Knowledge of Morality) in 1982, 1992 and 2000 is compared, we see that there is no difference between 1982 and 1992programs. But in year 2000 curriculum the goals were expanded and developed in order to include mental, emotional and skill related topics. When units are compared in terms of grades, while there is no significant difference between 1982 and 1992 curriculums, the 2000 curriculum is more focused on the student and it has been arranged mainly taken the needs of the student into consideration. Many new units have been added to 2000 curriculum and repeats were avoided which existed in 1982 and 1992 curriculums. In order to achieve the desired level of productivity in DKAB (Culture of Religion and Knowledge of Morality) lesson, it has to be taught beginning in the first grade of elementary school and weekly lesson hour must be elevated to three or four.
