ABSTRACT ELECTRIC ENERGY SAVING AUTOMATION SYSTEM AT COMPANIES The concept of energy saving can be defined as effective usage of the energy by applying specific improvement methods or using the new technologies without decreasing the production and the quality. In today’s manufacturing facilities, monitoring all of the processes is very important at conditions of increasing competition. In times of economic crisis, the importance of the real economy appears significantly. Collection, processing and presentation to the management of accurate and time-dependent data supports the business decision mechanisms and this is an essential element in the information systems. At production lines, machinery production times, less down time, failures are controlled by automation system in terms of traceability; productivity is increased and an application is made regarding the energy saving. As a result, production efficiency which is applied at the company has increased about 30 % and at operating expenses the share of electrical energy turned into 9,64 % save. Related study has been applied to a medium-sized company, enterprise has a pay off in nine months. After nine months it has become profitable.
